A poisonous jelly fish sting can cause a lot more than pain, nausea, and numbness. It can create a story the victim will most probably never forget and a journey to a local hospital many wish they had seen on tape. Unfortunately for the pain, yet fortunately for the story, it happened to me just [...]
San Francisco: Confirming stereotypes
Through movies and documentaries on the US, as well as excessive news coverage on Donald J. Trump, school shootings, and the huge racial disparities in the US, many of us will develop an image of one of the world's largest countries and quickly generalize this to the entire nation. After a successful debut against Korea University at the end of September (a victory and three goals), it was time for a new challenge, a game at and against the Korea Military Academy. [...]
My Journey to Indonesia
That I ever arrived in Yogjakarta, Indonesia, during the Korean Thanksgiving (Chusok,추석) break, has become more and more of a miracle every time I look back on my journey. Three flights, four airports, long layovers and a travel time of over 36 hours. Yep, it sounds great, and it definitely was an incredible adventure. My [...]
